Back From the Margins!

On occasion one must simply slow down & recharge in this sometimes challenging world….

Just a quick note, to be followed by posts upon posts. About a month ago, I finally caught the dreaded COVID after some 2.5 years of evading it by jabs and precautions. More on that later.

After about a week, two days of it feeling wretched, the rest of it just damn icky, I no longer tested positive. But the effects linger in the touches of brain fog and fatigue from the coronavirus that I’d heard and read about. One could write a damn book about the many and myriad effects and aftereffects of this modern plague. Just learned about another strange one yesterday morning suffered by the pharmacist who was jabbing me yet again with the latest vax update. I don’t relish getting infected again.

Never let your precautions slip in risky times

I also don’t buy what Boobyhatch Kennedy Jr. thinks is true about vaccines. Maybe it has something to do with helping administer the Salk polio vaccine in my 1960s Boy Scout youth. The Nobel Committee, who just gave its science prize to the inventors of the MRNA process. would likely agree with me.

I had to hunker down and focus on keeping my editing and writing clients happy and meeting publication deadlines. And take a bit of a mental and physical health staycation – good time to get some reading done, which recharges a writer’s batteries.

Hence Echoes From the Margins went on an unplanned hiatus. But as echoes do, has now returned. Appreciate your patience, dear reader/subscribers. Be well, stay safe, and y’all be cool.
